Masstransiscope is a public artwork in the New York City subway that animates when seen from passing trains. Masstransiscope can be seen from the Q and B trains in Brooklyn travelling into Manhattan between DeKallb Avenue and the Manhattan Bridge by looking out the window on the right.
Bill Brand created Masstransiscope in 1980 sponsored by Creative Time, Inc. Masstransiscope is in the permanent collection of MTA Arts & Design.
